# Introduction

Get set up in about 10-20 minutes. Here's what setup involves, so you know what's ahead before you start.

Setting up Olanna means two things: teaching your agent about your business, and connecting it to the ways your customers reach you. Once that's done, it starts answering, and you get your time back.

You don't have to finish in one sitting. Your progress is saved, so you can stop, handle a customer, and pick up where you left off.

### What you'll set up.

1. **Add business knowledge.**
Tell your agent about your business: what you do, your hours, your prices, and the questions customers ask most. This is what it answers from, so the more you add, the more it can handle on its own.
2. **Connect business apps**.
Link the tools you already use, like your booking or scheduling system, so your agent works from the same information you do.
3. **Connect messaging channels.**
Choose where your agent answers: voice, WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram, and web chat. Every conversation from one customer comes together in one place.
4. **Add teams.**
Invite the people who help run your business, so the right person sees the right handoff.
5. **Add locations.**
If you run more than one location, add each one so your agent answers correctly for each.
6. **Preview and go live.**
See how your agent answers before anyone else does. When it looks right, turn it on.

### Before you start
It helps to have a few things handy: your prices or price list, your opening hours, and the login for any booking or scheduling app you use. You don't need all of it to begin. You can add more anytime, and your agent gets better every time you do.
